Our chief objective is to breed a highly productive and low cost, efficient sheep, and to produce early maturing high quality prime lamb in a relatively harsh environment.

Priority Selection Factors

High fertility –rearing prime lambs all year round with high lambing percentages.

Constitution –ability to do well under seasonal and nutritional variability.

Conformation –freedom from fault and selection for prime carcass characteristics.

Low maintenance –high degree of shedding and strong resistance to internal parasites.

Objective Measurement

 Participation in "Lamb Plan" to assist measured selection and benchmark to industry excelence.

A flock comprising 200-300 intensely selected stud ewes and 3,000-4,000 pure bred commercial flock ewes is the objective.
